Hi Guys, Billy here, the proprietor of your mom's 5 star accommodation in Dublin for the next few days. She arrived last night safe but tired with her helmet dangling from her suit case. I managed to sort a bike for her and with a point in the right direction I expect she will be up and cycling the streets of Dublin with gusto. Fair play to her. She told me with great pride of your exploits though with a hint of regret that she has lost her cycling buddy this summer. I turn the pedals myself a little, most sundays I head up the hills of Wicklow and do about 45/50 miles, weather permitting. Well now, your journey is what I call a real cycle. I am indeed both very impressed and very very envious. I have had plans to cross Amercia on a motor bike but your site is convincing me other wise. And what a site, it is just class. I love the photos and the commentary - a wonderful blend of information and humour, Bill Bryson watch out. Keep up the great work and I will follow your adventures with great interest.
